E-MAIL/INFORMATION REQUEST FORMS
We recommend that when forwarding us an e-mail from this site make it for general purposes and do not include any confidential information or data that should only be shared on a secured site. If you wish to contact us directly about a confidential or sensitive matter please call us directly at 310.540.2265, by mail at 1333 South Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 or visit one of our five (5) locations.
BROWSER SECURITY
It is important to note that when you are linked through to our Bank-On-Line site that the Bank-On-Line site is a fully secured site. To this end Bay Cities National Bank requires the use of a secure browser with 128-bit encryption to access account information and perform transaction. Secure browsers employ secure socket layer (SSL) technology that encrypts – or scrambles- your account information so it’s almost impossible for anyone other than the Bank to read.
Many browsers offer 128-bit encryption but it is important to note that this encryption level is an optional feature. Since the 128-bit encryption is optional for some versions of browsers you should check for its encryption levels. You can check your security level with any browser by clicking on the Login button on the menu bar of the Bank-On-Line site. If you get a message that says, “SSL 128 required” in the second line, your browser does not have a 128-bit encryption.
If your browser does not meet the 128-bit security level you may click on 128-bit to an automatic link to Microsoft for downloading their Internet Explorer. Remember that after downloading the proper software, you must install it on your computer using the instructions appearing on your screen.
PASSWORDS/TIME OUTS
Some browser software may store User Name and Passwords. For security reasons you must disable this feature. If you do not disable this feature, others may be able to access your account without your knowledge or authorization.
In order to access our Bank-On-Line a user must enter a unique User ID and Password. After “accepting” you will be notified of your unique User Id and Password. Our system allows three (3) invalid sign-on attempts before locking out the user from further attempts, requiring the bank to reset your password. If you need to be reset please call 310.540.2265 during regular banking hours Monday through Friday. Specific information will be required from you before your password is reset.
To further protect your account information our Bank-On-Line has a built in timer that will terminate your session after a period of not actively using the system.

If we offer linked sites it is important to remember that these sites are not guaranteed secure.
